Data Validation
Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT). The company is based on the science and applied research work conducted by VTT and its collaborators since 2003.
MediSapiens data and bioinformatics science are well-accepted. The key scientific validation consists of the following:
- The MediSapiens data emerges from GeneSapiens, the world’s largest unified gene expression database developed at Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) and other research teams since 2004. The GeneSapiens database is used by a large number of researchers worldwide.
- The validation for the MediSapiens database against the representative collection of acknowledged biological phenomena in cancer has been published in Genome Biology in 2008.
- The data has been used extensively in the peer-reviewed research publications.
